Maria Clara Carvalho de Sena assists clients in Competition Law and Antitrust, and International Trade Law.
Her experience includes antitrust investigations, including cartel cases, as well as negotiation of leniency and settlement agreements with public authorities. Maria Clara also assists clients in compliance matters, reviewing business practices and structuring compliance programs. Moreover, she assists clients in high level merger and acquisitions cases before Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
In the International Trade Law practice, Maria Clara represents and advises clients in investigations related to trade matters, such as antidumping, safeguards and countervailing duties.
