Cascione Advogados announces the arrival of Renata Villela as a new partner in the Public Law, Infrastructure, and Regulation practice.

With a career built across both the public and private sectors, Renata Rocha Villela has extensive experience handling highly complex advisory and litigation matters. Her practice is particularly focused on regulated and infrastructure sectors, with a strong emphasis on rail transport and energy.

Throughout her career, Renata has developed a practice that combines in-depth legal knowledge of regulated environments with an understanding of the institutional and economic particularities surrounding infrastructure projects. Her expertise encompasses strategic issues related to regulation and the relationship between private agents and public authorities, both in an advisory capacity and in complex disputes.

The new partner also brings a solid academic background. She holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in State Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), is a specialist in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedure from the Escola de Direito do Brasil (EDB), and holds a Bachelor of Laws from USP. Her academic work includes teaching postgraduate courses, participating in examination boards, and publishing scientific and opinion articles on topics related to infrastructure, political representation, and democracy.
