PROFILE

Ana Carolina Monteiro, is specialized in Business Law, both in litigation and advisory matters, especially in representing clients in judicial and extrajudicial recovery and bankruptcy claims; consultancy and performance in mediation and conciliation procedures in the pre-insolvency phase and consultancy for the acquisition of distressed assets.

Ana Carolina Monteiro also has experience in advising banks and investment funds in granting post-bid loans (debtor-in-possession and exit financing) and in granting financing for the acquisition of assets in debt restructuring (acquisition financing); constitution of vehicles that can be used in the restructuring proceedings, such as non-standard receivables investment funds (FIDCNP) and equity investment funds (FIP) and others.

Ana Carolina Monteiro, finally, has also worked in domestic and international arbitrations and in the first recognition of foreign insolvency proceedings in Brazil, filing auxiliary proceedings in accordance with the UNCITRAL transnational insolvency model.
